At the Double Nature Talk June 16, 8 pm CEST, Matthea De Jong – director Tolhuistuin – shared her vision on culture in the climate emergency and the role of hotspot Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where Climate Cleanup is also residing. Tolhuistuin used to be the offices of Shell. More than 10 years ago this place slowly changed into a cultural hotspot. Matthea was also in our masterclass, talking about the impressive work of Wangari Maathai, the first African woman to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
